Bi-Monthly Seminars to Further Your Professional Artistic Career

All Seminars from 6-7:30 p.m. on Monday nights in the 5 Mile Diner theatre space unless otherwise noted.   Seminar will consist of a 50-60 minute presentation, a short break, and a Q&A to follow.   Seminars are free to all Milepost 5 residents, and open to outside artists by RSVP to Claire@milepostfive.com with a suggested donation of $10 to benefit the Milepost 5 Artists’ Fund.

What is a copyright and why should you register it?  Understand your copyright, what it means to license your work, and how to make a contract that works for you.  This is the first of several copyright seminars in different artistic disciplines, and though all are welcome, it will be geared towards the specifics of the visual arts world.

Hands-on workshop on Copyright Registration.  Bring a digital copy of the works you want to register (a PDF of your last gallery show, video or music files, your novel or screenplay, etc.), a laptop, and a credit card or checking account information to send an e-check for copyright payment.  You will walk away with a complete, processed copyright on your work!
