A multidisciplinary showcase of new work
as part of the 2013 Fertile Ground Festival.
Milepost 5 presents “Ripen,” a mini-festival-within-the-festival, showcasing visual art as part of the Fertile Ground festival for the first time. Installations throughout the campus through the end of February, and a wealth of performances, from opera to comedy, during the ten days of the festival. 1.24 through 2.1.
Nine resident artists present Ripen: interactive, site specific installations distributed throughout the Milepost 5 campus. Ripen is the visual art component of the Fertile Ground festival.
Opens Jan, 2013, runs through the 10-day festival, and through Feb. Featuring new work by: Nikolos Ayres, Odir Chavez, Will Elder, Sally Girand, James Halvorson, Nada Katz, Maryrose Larkin, Mercedes Orozco-Barreiro, and Sarah Wood. Continue reading
